The Avengers (2012)

The story starts out when Nick Fury, Director of a covert peacekeeping organization (S.H.I.E.L.D) discovers Super Soldier Captain America along with the Tesseract, a extraterrestrial energy source that acts as a gateway to the nine realms of Yggdrasil. With the Tesseract's discovery, it unknowingly brings brings unwanted attention (and danger) to Earth's people.

Thus Loki, our main villain, is brought into the story. Loki looks to use the Teserract's power to bring forth an army of Chitari warriors to help him take over and rule the human race.

To stop Loki in his quest for power over Earth's people, Nick Fury brings together Iron Man (Tony Stark), Captain America, The hulk (Dr. Bruce Banner), Thor, and SHIELD agents to defend Earth against Loki's eminent threat.
